5 Application notes

WEM3080TD is designed specifically for 3-phase 3-wire Delta systems.

Unlike WEM3080T, which is designed for 3-phase 4-wire WYE/Star systems, WEM3080TD uses phase B as the reference phase in Delta measurement mode.

In the standard Delta installation:

  1. Power A represents the power from line A to line B
  2. Power B is zero because phase B is used as the reference phase
  3. Power C represents the power from line C to line B

10 Indicator

Indicator Description
RUN Always on after powering on, flashing while the Wi-Fi module is communicating with the power meter
REV Always on when:
1. The current is reversed as per the bottom-marked current direction of CT for any phase, or
2. The CT is connected to the wrong phase
WIFI Always on after the Wi-Fi module is connected to the router
