Sonoff switches are suitable for low-power appliances (max current ≤10A), such as fans, small pumps, and plug-in loads. Do not use for high-current devices.

  1. Enable MQTT in IAMMETER Cloud
    • Add your meter to IAMMETER-Cloud and enable MQTT.
    • Obtain your MQTT Client ID and set up automation rules (e.g., send control commands based on power thresholds).
  2. Configure the Tasmota-Flashed Sonoff Device
    • Set MQTT broker to: mqtt.iammeter.com:1883
    • Define the control topic (e.g., cmnd/POWER) and payload (1 to turn on, 0 to turn off).
  3. Define the Automation Logic
    • For example, automatically turn on a fan when power consumption exceeds 100W.
