IAMMETER Contributor Center Launches Activities Module
IAMMETER Contributor Center has launched a new Activities module, creating a dedicated place for users to try IAMMETER products and features, submit practical feedback, and earn RP after review.
The first live activity is the Free Trial: IAMMETER P1 Adaptor / Reader Testing Program. The program is open from May 13, 2026 to June 10, 2026, and the page currently shows 5 total seats. Approved applicants will receive an IAMMETER P1 Adaptor / Reader at no cost for testing.
This activity is intended for users who meet the following conditions:
- You have a P1 smart meter, or a P1-compatible device such as a home battery
- You already use an IAMMETER meter and can mention the model in your application
- You can provide test feedback and test data, and agree that IAMMETER may publish the results online
- You have basic hands-on technical ability, since firmware updates may be required during testing
Two test scenarios are currently listed:
- Use the IAMMETER P1 Reader to read data from a P1 smart meter and upload it to IAMMETER-Cloud through an IAMMETER Virtual Meter
- Use the IAMMETER P1 Adaptor to send real-time IAMMETER meter data to a P1-compatible battery through the P1 interface
